Performs a variety of basic nursing and personal care duties under the guidance of the Case Manager/Staff Nurse Designated in Charge/LPN.  Observes and reports changes in Residents' conditions, behavior and participation in activities.  Accurately charts pertinent information in accordance with established procedures.  Candidates will require HCA certification.  St. Michael’s supports permanent part time employees in their professional development opportunities through its “Partnerships in Learning Program”.  St. Michael’s also offers a competitive salary and employee benefit package.  Previous experience in a long term care setting, home care, medical unit, psychiatric unit (dementia) would be an asset.  Good interpersonal skills with disabled and/or the elderly are required.
