CLINCIAL COMPLIANCE LEAD
Full Time
As the Clinical Compliance Lead (CCL) for St. Michael’s Health Group, based in Edmonton, you will be responsible for supporting the Supportive Living Site Managers currently located in Edmonton, Spruce Grove, and Vegreville, in ensuring that the care services are performed in full compliance with the Continuing Care Health Service Standards. The CCL monitors and evaluates the quality of care given by HCA’s and is responsible for related functions such as infection control/prevention and risk management. Also responsible for ongoing competency assessments for HCA’s. In addition, the CCL will develop, implement and maintain an on-going evaluation of a Quality Improvement Program for the sites. The CCL will develop assessment tools including key indicators for admission into supportive living sites and provides support to Site Managers in new admission and on-going assessments.
The successful candidate will be a Licensed Practical Nurse, with current CLPNA membership, who possesses demonstrable skills in management, and at least three years experience working with the elderly and specifically with home care programs. Proven communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Manager, Supportive Living
St. Michael’s Grove Manor is a 71-unit Supportive Living facility owned and operated by St. Michael’s Health Group. As the Manager for this facility you will be responsible for the marketing, program planning, budgeting, reporting, recruiting, implementing and evaluating programs and services. Other responsibilities include initial and on-going assessments of Residents and advocating on behalf of the Residents with external agencies to ensure appropriate services.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrable skills in management along with a background in a health-related discipline such as Licensed Practical Nurse, therapeutics and gerontology. Applicants must have proven communication and interpersonal skills preferably with seniors/physically challenged adults. Those with 3 to 5 years recent experience in management (i.e. property, lodge or supportive living facility) will have a definite advantage.
